Weekend Sale Alert: Belk’s!!

I was in Belk’s yesterday and I came across an amazing sale that they are having this weekend! The sale is 50% markdown on the original price and then an additional 50% off of the sale price for a total savings of 75%…now, I do not quite understand that math but that’s what the sign says. Therefore, I will just roll with it. j/k

Yesterday, I did not buy a lot…but I did see a few deals that I could not pass up, like this classic white french cuff spread collar dress shirt by Ralph Lauren for $9.99.

Izodshirt1 Izodshirt2

This izod gingham check spread collar dress shirt was also $9.99.  Izod made this one with a lot of access material, so I will have to go and get this shirt fitted to avoid the popsicle look (more to come on this topic).

Rose spread collar dress shirt was also $9.99.

This beautiful dotted bow tie by Ralph Lauren was only $14.99.

This red polka dot necktie by Ralph Lauren was also on sale for $14.99

There are many more great deals in the store and if you are on Belk’s email distribution list, then you have access to multiple coupon offers that makes this sale event even sweeter.

Happy Shopping!!

Polka Dot And Plaid!

Today is my Friday! My last day of work and it’s, “Hello Weekend!”  But make no mistake, I did not treat today like “Casual Friday”.  In fact, my coworkers would say that term has absolutely no meaning to me.  And they are correct!  Today’s breakdown:

Brown wingtip, slip-on, loafers with tassels made by Florsheim.

 Socks by Ralph Lauren.

Dark brown dress pants are a Macy’s store brand.

This blue french cuff dress shirt with the white spread collar is by Donald Trump.  I know, I know…but it was only $15!  I had to buy it…I think it’s illegal to walk away from a deal like that, seriously.  The alteration work I had to do to make this shirt presentable was insane.

A lighter shade of brown polka dot tie was another thrifting find for $1.  Tie bar is from Banana Republic.

Brown cufflinks…the shade of brown in the cufflinks is similar to the shade of brown in the necktie.  Cufflinks are a Dillard’s (my former employer) store brand.

Plaid sports jacket with notch lapel and side vents is Austin Reed.

Pocket square was a thrifting find.  I think I paid $1 for this piece.

Final Look!!!
