Not So Spring-Like

The recent weather wasn’t the induction into the spring season that I was hoping for.  It has been a little chilly…and today felt as if we were in the middle of winter.  I had to adorn some of my heavier pieces today to combat the “hawk”:

Brown wingtip kilted loafers with tassels by Cole Haan are a thrifting find.

Light blue cable cord dress socks are by Banana Republic.

Brown corduroy trousers by J.Crew.

Blue pointed collar dress shirt with brown window pane by Chaps is a thrifting find.

tie Tie2

Dots On Stripes

It’s Monday…the start of the work week.  I started this week off with another suit and tie look…damn you, Timberlake!  Today’s suit is complimented by polka dots and stripes:

Black cap toe dress shoes by Saks Fifth Avenue.

Stripe dress socks by Club Room.

Black and white stripe dress shirt with the white pointed collar is a thrifting find.

Tie Tie3

Black and white polka dot necktie by Chaps is a thrifting find.  I could not get the dimple quite right, this morning…I could not center it.  Tie bar is by Kenneth Cole.

Classic white cotton pocket square…origin unknown.

Black double-breasted suit with peaked lapels, six button silhouette, side vents, flap pockets, and full interior lining is by Ralph Lauren.
