(Everything is by Ralph Lauren except the silk stripe bow tie by Saddlebred and the boots by Magnanni)
Today’s look marks my first attempt to step out into the spring season:
Today, I am feeling extremely well…life is golden and everything is going great. Nevertheless, I am giving you guys the blues on this beautiful day:
Here is a peak at today’s look…just a peak instead of the detailed breakdown:
Grey herringbone suit that features peaked lapels, two button closure, side vents, flap pockets, and full interior lining is by Banana Republic. Purple gingham spread collar shirt is by J.Crew. Purple necktie is by Ralph Lauren. Silver tie bar is by Banana Republic. Black lapel flower designer unknown. Grey socks with purple specs are by Banana Republic. Black Chucka boots are by Banana Republic.
I have been making more of a conscious effort to incorporate green into my wardrobe. I do not know the psychology behind it…maybe it is just another challenge that I have presented myself:
Green silk necktie with blue stripes by Stafford is a thrifting find. And a very quality tie in regards to the material. Brass tie bar is by Brooks Brothers. Blue herringbone spread collar dress shirt is by Ralph Lauren.
With the colors and flower theme to today’s look, I guess you can say that I may have a little Valentine’s Day hangover. If you are wondering, I did have an amazing Valentine’s Day celebration with my wife and daughter:
With the horrible weather that has come through the south, I have managed to bring the flowers out:
Silk necktie with floral print by Brooks Brothers is a thrifting find. Brass vintage tie bar is from Hong Kong Vintage Clothing in Charlotte, NC. Blue stripe dress shirt with white contrast collar is by Ike Behar is a thrifting find.
